On March 10 and 11, three Dover Sherborn Middle School students performed in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern District Junior Festival at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. Arden Caldicott, Jenna Eiten, and Annabelle Schmidt were acceptance and participated in the Junior Festival.

The students auditioned in January with nearly 1,000 students from neighboring towns in the Eastern District; only half were selected to participate. Ms. Eiten sang in the Treble Chorus, conducted by Jessica Napoles, who is an associate professor of choral music education at the University of North Texas. Ms. Schmidt played the clarinet in the Concert Band, conducted by Erin Cole, who is a clinician and consultant for Conn-Selmer and the Hal Leonard Corporation. Ms. Caldicott played the French Horn in the Orchestra, conducted by Rachel Jayson, who is the Orchestra Director at Lexington High School.
