Students from Medfield’s Dale Street and Wheelock Elementary Schools gathered at the Medfield High School auditorium to compete in a fun and friendly spelling competition hosted by The Medfield Coalition for Public Education. Teams of three to four students, dressed in fun costumes and entertaining t-shirts, met onstage in an attempt to out spell their peers. Winning teams from each grade level round met in a final competition to determine the winning team for each school.

Dale Street School’s 'Team Wasps' members Carl Kirchhoff, Carrigan Allenby, Drew Michaeli, and Josh McMahon celebrate their win with Principal Steve Grenham at MCPE’s Spelling Bee.
