Model Airplane Club meeting July 28

Interested in model airplanes? The Millis Model Airplane Club (MMAC) will hold its annual fun fly at the Bill Martin Field in Medfield on Sunday, July 28, starting at 9 a.m. The field is located near the intersection of Hospital Rd and Rt 27, just South of the Charles River.

This event provides a chance to explore this wonderful hobby and meet some very friendly people. The MMAC has very capable pilots from 8 years of age and up. There will be people available to answer any/all questions. Newcomers might even get a chance to fly.

Attendees need not participate in the contests that will be held. The contest will be two of the following activities, based on weather conditions, number of participants, and other factors: limbo, bomb drop, taxiing around a set course, or extended dead-stick air time. The group will announce which two will be chosen during the pilots meeting. There is no entrance fee. There will be limited prizes for first, second and third-place winners. There will be equal opportunity for electric, nitro and gas power systems.
