The saxophone quartet Asylum Quartet kicked off the second half of the 2015-16 Great Hall Concert Series with a performance on Saturday night that included Needham student musicians.

The concert packed Powers Hall on the second floor of Needham Town Hall and the ensemble showcased its award-winning repertoire of chamber music.

The ensemble was then joined on stage by a group of Needham High students. This is part of the concert organizers’ mission of bringing more attention to the talented musicians in the Needham schools.

The next concert will take place on May 14 and will feature Caravan of Thieves.
