Exchange Club spreads giving spirit

[ccfic caption-text format="plaintext"]

Every December, the Exchange Club collects and donates holiday gifts to children in need. Both the Needham Community Council and the Walker Home receive and distribute these gifts.

Each Exchange Club member takes home holiday gift bags to be filled with gifts for children in need. The gifts are suggested based on a list for each age group. They are left unwrapped so that they can be verified for appropriateness by the receiving organization. In the case of the Community Council, parents can select and then wrap the gift for their children.

This is just one of the many service programs provided to the Needham community by the members of the Needham Exchange Club.

Membership in the Exchange Club is open to all members of the community who have an interest in collegiality and in giving back to the community. Anyone interested in attending a dinner meeting at no cost is welcome. Information is on the Club’s website at www.needhamexchangeclub.org.

Those interested in attending a meeting can find members listed in the front of the Needham Phonebook or can call (781-444-3924) and leave a message.
