William Muorwel, a former Lost Boy of Sudan, visited Mitchell School this fall as part of a grant from the Needham Education Foundation.
For over 25 years, the Needham Education Foundation (NEF) has funded over 600 entertaining and educational programs that "make learning come alive" for Needham public school students.
Now, they are soliciting innovative ideas from the town to enhance the learning experiences and school community of Needham students.
The NEF is accepting applications for its Spring 2017 Small Grants program. Small grant applications for up to $5,000 are due March 23.
Any Needham Public School educator, administrator or community member — including students and parents — is eligible to apply. Email email@example.com for help with an application or shaping an idea. To see what NEF has funded in the past and to apply online, visit www.nefneedham.org/grants.
