Songs in Hebrew, Yiddish and English filled Temple Aliyah's sanctuary on Saturday evening, November 18, as the community celebrated the installation of its new cantor, Jamie Gloth. Cantor Gloth performed solos, duos with colleagues, and sang with the Temple Aliyah Chorus. A native of Akron, Ohio, Cantor Gloth previously served as cantor for Conservative congregations in New Jersey, California, Ohio and New York.
