Needham Junior Football and Cheerleading will hold its annual Experience Open House on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at Needham High’s Memorial Field. The event is for football players and cheerleaders in grades 1-4.
There will be coaches on hand to run the football players through fun drills and work on basic running, throwing, catching, blocking and tackling drills. Cheerleaders can learn basic cheers and moves from Junior Cheerleading instructors.
There will also be free giveaways and refreshments for those in attendance.
Open registration for both football and cheerleading began on April 1 for students currently in grades 1-7. Roster sizes are limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
