Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFI), a 501(c)(3) charitable service dog organization located in Walpole, is holding a live auction and raffle at their Harvest Dinner to honor GOFI Service Dog Recipients and Volunteers. The event will take place at the Lafayette House on Saturday, November 25, from 6-11 p.m. Proceeds from the Harvest Dinner will go towards the service dog program that pairs English-type Golden Retrievers with people living with disabilities. GOFI breeds and trains high quality service dogs for children and adults with medical and mobility issues.
Proceeds from the Harvest Dinner will go towards defraying the cost of providing a service dog to the recipient. Tickets are $40. Prizes include a week stay on the ocean in Sagamore Beach/Cape Cod, an overnight stay at Mohegan Sun Casino, which includes a dinner for two, and a diamond bracelet.
