Walpole Junior Girl Scout Troop 88072 recently gave back to a community. On Saturday December 2, nine scouts and three leaders decorated brown lunch bags and soup cup lids, wrapped pastries, packed bagels, filled soup cups and then packed sandwiches, snacks, bagels and pastries into individual lunches.
Amazingly, in 2 1/2 hours, they made 250 lunches. What happened next was inspirational and profound: they went to a giving station near a homeless shelter. These girls handed out 250 lunches in less than 10 minutes to numerous homeless people.
