Ellie Bennett, a freshman at Ohio State University and 2017 Wellesley High School graduate, received a $2,500 college scholarship from Wellesley Toyota as part of a partnership with the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation.
The WSF Scholarship Committee selects recipients for the Wellesley Toyota scholarship who have demonstrated academic excellence and exemplary leadership skills in the community, their high school, or on the athletic field.
Ellie was active at Wellesley High School as a member of the varsity sailing and swimming teams and 'Ladies First' acappella group. She performed community service with the National Charity League and was active with the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church youth group. Ellie is in the Honors program at Ohio State majoring in Architecture.
The Wellesley Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance to college-bound Wellesley students through need- and merit-based scholarships.
