‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ ballet upcoming

Miss Michelle’s Center for the Performing Arts of Wellesley will present its ninth annual Relevé Ballet Workshop performance of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" on June 11 at Wilson Middle School, 22 Rutledge Road in Natick at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each at the door, $20 each pre-sale. The ballet, based upon the Shakespeare play, tells the comic story of mixed up love and magic, all on a Midsummer’s night, set to the delightful music of Felix Mendelssohn.

This year’s cast includes the talents of students from Wellesley, Weston, Natick, Needham and Dover. Wellesley residents Annelise Perry, 15, and Lucy Tecca, 15, are stunning as Helena and Hermia, and Natick resident Hannah Kuklis, 15, sparkles as Titania. Needham High School senior Erica Stern, 18, is Puck, alongside Wellesley High School Senior Nina Brady, 18, who dances the role of Mustard Seed. Weston residents Sharan Gupta, 15, and Sofia Watkins, 12, dance the roles of Oberon and Bottom respectively.

Miss Michelle’s Center for the Performing Arts is located at 159 Linden St. in Wellesley.
