Wellesley High School is set to present its spring musical, the Tony award-winning “Peter and the Starcatcher.” Adapted from Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling children’s novel, “Peter and the Starcatcher” is a highly imaginative prequel to J.M. Barrie’s original Peter Pan story. For children, it is a fresh take on a familiar tale. For older audiences, it’s a poignant story of loneliness and finding human connections.

There will be four performances only: Thursday, May 3, at 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 5 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wellesleyps.org/performingarts, and are $20 for adults, $10 for students/seniors. This is a family-friendly production that is best suited for children ages 8 and above.

Note that “Peter and the Starcatcher” will take place at Wellesley High School’s Little Theater, a small black-box venue with limited seating. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
