Westwood Recreation offering April vacation programming

April vacation week is coming soon. Want to do something new, fun and exciting? Register with Westwood Recreation for one of their spectacular programs.

For youth and teens there is Spring Training Baseball, Tennis Lessons, Golf Clinics, Fencing Clinic, and Drivers Education. Grab your tennis racquet, baseball glove, or golf clubs and spring into action.

Adventure Days, for ages 3 – 5, offers indoor and outdoor fun with songs, games, crafts and stories. These fun-filled programs help parents to manage their busy schedules with a morning and afternoon option: day session 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. for $35 and afternoon session 1 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. for $25.

Programs are held at the Islington Community Center Tuesday through Friday, April 19 - 22. Pre-registration is required.

The vacation week will also feature Open Swim from April 19-22, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.. Participants must be able to swim independently or be accompanied by an adult.

Daily fee is $5 per swimmer or current membership. Join your friends at the pool and make a splash.

Pre-registration is required for all the programs except for open swim and it is recommended to sign up early. Programs must meet the minimum number of participants by April 12 to avoid cancellation.
